Tadlo.net is a project of development cooperation with the objective to improve the educational situation and career opportunities of the youth in the rural area of Ban Sane Vang in southern Laos. The central objective of the Tadlo.net project is the establishment and operation of the Tadlo Computer Education Center (TCEC) which offers free computer training and English lessons to the local students. The people of the region are given new perspectives and a basis for social mobility through education.

In 2008 the Tadlo.net project will be supported by ASA volunteers for the fourth time. We are looking forward to this cooperation and the fruitful impulses for the future development of the Tadlo.net project.
The project has been listed in the ASA project catalogue for 2008. Competent candidates can apply for the scholarship of ASA until the 10th of January 2008. Please visit the ASA website for a desription of how to apply for the scholarship. We would like to encourage everybody who is interested to volunteer in the project and who meets the requirements of ASA to apply for the scholarship.
